However, to teach this skill to them is not easy. They need certain methods to learn these skills to get effective results. Video-Based Instruction is one method to teach these skills. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of Video-Based Instruction on the practice of personal hygiene during menstruation on Intellectual Disability students. Methods: This is quantitative research with pre-experimental type and one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection tool is a "personal hygiene" questionnaire. The data analysis method uses a paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 25. This study was conducted to determine the correlation between sitting position and complaints of low back pain in cyclists. Methods: This study employed the narrative review method by collecting ten research articles from the Google Scholar and PubMed databases, identifying keywords using the PEOs format, so that the keywords "Cyclist", "Sitting Position", "Lower Back Pain", and "All Study Design" were used. Results: All articles used were articles published starting in 2010. Seven articles stated that lower back pain occurred more frequently in a sitting position with large lumbar flexion. Six articles stated that the sitting position of a cyclist was affected by the position of the handlebars. Five articles stated that sitting with the lower handlebars resulted in greater lumbar flexion and anterior pelvic tilt. Five articles stated that prolonged lumbar flexion and anterior pelvic tilt resulted in a lower crossed syndrome. Four articles found that lower crossed syndrome contributes to lower back pain. Conclusion: There is a correlation between sitting position and complaints of low back pain in cyclists. Controversy of use this method was found in several publication. Researcher notes many questions about NSOMT efication. Aim of study is to gather information about utility NSOMT among Speech Therapist’s in Central Java. Isssue of Evidence Based Practice (EBP)implementation was crucial to be answer. This study was to analyse use of NSOMT among central java clinicians who treat children with speech sound disorder. Methods: This study was conducted in March until July 2019. Total 146 speech therapist across Central Java was participated on this study. Data analysis used descriptive statistic and Spearman Rank. Results: 84,9% speech therapist in Central Java used NSOMT to treat children who have speech sound disorder. Education level had a correlation with utility NSOMT in speech sound intervention (OR: 4.61; 95%: 1.44-14.72; p: 0.010). Conclusions: The results suggested similar finding with survey was conducted before. One way to overcome this is myofascial release, but there is no review article about the effect of myofascial release on the functional neck of myofascial pain syndrome. This study is to analyze the effect of myofascial release on pain and functional neck myofascial pain syndrome in the upper trapezius muscle. Methods: systematic review with the PICO framework (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcomes). Identify articles using relevant databases (Googlescholar, PubMed, PeDro) with customized keywords. Article selection using PRISMA flowchart, article assessment using critical appraisal. Results: The number of articles from 3 databases contained 3684 articles. After screening the title and the relevance of the abstract, 10 articles were obtained that proved the effectiveness of myofascial release in reducing neck pain and disability. Conclusion: myofascial release technique in the condition of myofascial pain syndrome, upper trapezius muscle is effective for reducing pain and increasing functional motion in the neck.
Sulistyaningsih Sulistyaningsih, Adinda Riestiani Hernatha Putri ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://jurnalketerapianfisik.com/index.php/jpt/article/view/231 Thu, 12 Nov 2020 12:14:57 +0700 Correction Posture Tapping Meningkatkan Kemampuan Gerak Fungsional Anak Cerebral Palsy http://jurnalketerapianfisik.com/index.php/jpt/article/view/222
Background: Cerebral palsy (CP) is a collection of motor disorders caused by brain damage that occur before, during or after birth which can be caused by many factors such as, congenital, genetic, inflation, infection and poisoning during pregnancy, trauma and metabolic disorders. One of the physical function deficiencies is the decrease in musculoskeletal conditions that affects the balance of postural muscles which results in the changes of kyphosis posture, so that it affects the changes of the body's center of gravity (COG) toward the fulcrum which causes disturbance of static balance. This poor static balance creates the risk of falling which causes many problems and even death for the elderly.
